Terms of Use

Last updated: September 29, 2026

Stitch is operated by The Curated Artistry, a brand of Curated & Regulated Consulting Inc., an Ontario corporation ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern use of Stitch's website and application. By creating an account or using Stitch, you agree to these Terms.

1. THE SERVICE

Stitch is a sewing inventory, pattern, project-planning and cost-estimation tool. Its calculations, suggestions and AI-generated outputs are planning aids, not guarantees of material quantities, costs or project outcomes.

2. ACCOUNTS AND ACCEPTABLE USE

Provide accurate account information, safeguard your login credentials and use Stitch lawfully. You are responsible for activity through your account. Do not attempt to access another user's data, interfere with Stitch's operation or misuse its features. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized account access. Users who are minors must have permission from a parent or guardian where required. Paid subscriptions must be purchased or authorized by someone legally permitted to enter into the subscription agreement.

3. FREE TRIAL

Stitch offers a 14-day full-access free trial without requiring a payment card. Users who do not subscribe enter limited access on days 15–21, followed by retention access on days 22–49. On day 50, retained sewing records are scheduled for deletion unless the account has been activated through a subscription, subject to applicable legal retention requirements. Users may subscribe during the available trial and retention stages.

4. SUBSCRIPTION AND BILLING

The monthly subscription is $8.49 CAD plus applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew monthly unless cancelled. Payment is processed through Stripe, an external payment provider. Subscription access begins after successful payment confirmation. Applicable pricing and billing terms are shown before purchase. Changes to existing subscription prices will be communicated as required by applicable law.

5. SUBSCRIPTION MANAGEMENT

Subscribers may manage their subscription through their Stitch account. Subscriptions remain active until cancelled. If a subscriber chooses to cancel, cancellation will take effect at the end of the applicable paid billing period, and access will continue through that date. Following cancellation, account information and sewing records may be retained for a limited period to allow the subscriber an opportunity to return before deletion, as described in this Agreement. Available subscription management options may change as Stitch services and features evolve.

6. CANCELLATION

Users may cancel through the available subscription-management process. Cancellation prevents future renewals, subject to payments already due or processing. Paid access continues until the current paid period ends. A 60-day retention period then allows the user to resubscribe or export supported records. Remaining sewing records are scheduled for deletion when that period expires, subject to applicable legal retention obligations. Cancellation does not automatically create a refund entitlement; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

7. FAILED PAYMENTS

If payment fails, Stitch may provide a payment grace period and send an account notice. If payment remains unresolved after the configured retry process, access may be restricted. Continued nonpayment may lead to cancellation and the applicable retention period. The actual retry and billing settings will be confirmed before launch.

8. YOUR CONTENT

You retain your rights in original sewing records, photographs and other content you provide. You authorize us to host, store, process and display that content as needed to provide Stitch and the features you request. You are responsible for having permission to upload and use copyrighted materials, including sewing patterns. Stitch does not grant rights to reproduce or distribute third-party patterns.

9. AI AND CALCULATORS

AI-assisted outputs and cost calculations may contain errors. Check extracted requirements, measurements, substitutions, material quantities and estimated costs before relying on them. Actual results may vary.

10. DATA EXPORT

Users can download supported sewing records as five CSV files: stash, patterns, pattern requirements, makes and material allocations. The initial export does not include photographs or uploaded pattern files. Download records you wish to preserve before your scheduled account-deletion date.

11. RETENTION AND DELETION

Unsubscribed trial accounts follow the planned trial, limited-access, retention and deletion schedule in Section 3. Cancelled paid accounts receive a 60-day retention period after paid access ends. We intend to communicate relevant access changes and deletion dates by email. Deleted sewing records may not be recoverable. Information that must be retained for legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution purposes may be kept for an appropriate additional period.

12. AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES

We may maintain, modify or update Stitch. We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Material changes affecting paid subscriptions will be communicated as appropriate.

13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Stitch's software, original service content, design and branding belong to Curated & Regulated Consulting Inc. or its applicable licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Stitch's intellectual property to users. Users retain their rights in their own original content.

14. LIABILITY AND CONSUMER RIGHTS

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Stitch is provided without a guarantee that calculations, recommendations or AI-generated information will be error-free or suitable for every sewing project. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

15. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Ontario and Canada, subject to mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply to a user.

16. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms as Stitch develops. We will revise the Last updated date and provide notice of material changes where appropriate.
