Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 29, 2026
Stitch is operated by The Curated Artistry, a brand of Curated & Regulated Consulting Inc., an Ontario corporation ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, shared and retained when you visit Stitch or use its application.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Account information: We collect the information you provide to create and manage an account, including your name, email address and optional sewing room or business name. Authentication information is processed to secure account access.
Sewing information: Stitch stores the content you choose to provide, including stash items, patterns, pattern requirements, planned and completed makes, material allocations, quantities, costs, notes, photographs and uploaded pattern files.
Subscription information: We process information required to administer subscriptions, including subscription status, billing dates, payment status and payment-provider identifiers. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider rather than intentionally stored in Stitch.
Technical information: Our service providers may process information such as IP address, device or browser information, service activity and error information to operate, protect and troubleshoot Stitch.
Support information: If you contact us or submit feedback, we process the information you provide to respond to your request.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information to create and secure accounts; store and display sewing records; provide inventory, pattern, project and calculation features; process optional AI-assisted requests; administer trials and subscriptions; send service, billing and account-retention notices; respond to support and privacy requests; and maintain and improve service reliability and security.
3. AI-ASSISTED FEATURES
Stitch includes optional AI-assisted functions, including extracting requirements from information you submit. Relevant submitted content may be sent to an external AI service to complete the requested function. AI output can be inaccurate and should be checked before purchasing materials or beginning a project. We will disclose the applicable AI provider and confirmed data-handling arrangements before launch.
4. SERVICE PROVIDERS AND INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
We use external providers for application hosting and infrastructure, payment processing, AI functions and service-related email. These providers may process information as needed to deliver their services. Depending on their infrastructure, information may be processed or stored outside Canada and may be subject to laws in those locations. We do not sell your personal information.
5. DATA EXPORT
From My Account, signed-in users can download five CSV files containing their stash, patterns, pattern requirements, makes and material allocations. Photographs and uploaded pattern files are not included in the initial export. You are responsible for preserving any files you wish to keep before account deletion. Additional export functionality may be introduced in the future.
6. TRIALS, RETENTION AND DELETION
The planned account lifecycle includes a 14-day full-access trial, limited access on days 15–21, retention access on days 22–49 and scheduled deletion on day 50 if no subscription is activated. For a cancelled paid subscription, paid access continues until the applicable paid period ends, followed by a 60-day retention period. During retention, users can sign in to manage their account, resubscribe and export supported records. We intend to provide reminders of relevant dates and scheduled deletion. Some information may be retained for longer where required for legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution purposes. These schedules will be confirmed against the implemented service before launch.
7. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES
You may review and update available account details, download supported records and contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law. Contact TheCuratedArtistry@gmail.com for privacy requests.
8. SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information. No internet service can guarantee complete security. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and reporting suspected unauthorized account access.
9. YOUNGER SEWISTS
Stitch welcomes sewists of different ages, including teenagers. Where required by applicable privacy law, a parent or guardian must provide consent for a younger user's personal information to be collected and processed.
Parents or guardians may contact TheCuratedArtistry@gmail.com with questions or requests concerning their child's personal information.
10. CHANGES
We may update this Privacy Policy as Stitch evolves. We will revise the Last updated date and provide additional notice where appropriate.
